The Rian Chao Khun Nor Nor Wor Mor Dork Bua 2 Khang 2515 BE School Building Edition holds a special place in the realm of Thai amulets. Blessed by the esteemed Luang Phu Tim Issarigo of Wat Laharn Rai, this amulet is a distinguished example of the Rian Roop Khai BE Guru Monk Coin, crafted in Nuea Galai Tong during the 2515 BE Edition. The coin bears the image of the revered Chao Khun Nor, an Arya Sangha Monk of great historical importance, known for his exemplary trajectory of practice in the Buddhist Vinaya.
Fashioned in Nuea Bronze Chup Galai Tong, a sacred brazen alloy galvanized with gold and brass, this series is highly sought after. The Great Luang Phu Tim presided over the empowerment and Blessing Ceremony, accompanied by a multitude of other esteemed Master Monks, adding to the significance of this edition.
In the auspicious year 2515 BE, the amulets were released during the Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony at Wat Silakhant to inaugurate the construction of the Maha Witayalai Nakorn Nayok School Building. Chao Khun Nor, an Arya Sangha Guru Monk, was known for his undisputed magical powers, with amulets bearing Metta Mahaniyom, Maha Lap, Klaew Klaad, and Serm Duang properties.
This amulet is highly recommended for family heirloom collections and for wearing, as it carries pure Buddhakun Blessings without any influence of black magic. It is designed to enhance wealth, attract treasures, provide Klaew Klaad protection, and improve auspicious karma (Serm Duang). The amulets were crafted using dried Bai Tong (banana leaf), which Chao Khun Nor used in his Kuti Hut. These were mixed with old Muan Sarn Sacred Powders from previous editions and contributions from other revered Masters.
Chao Khun Nor, officially known as ‘Tan Tammawidtago Pikhu’ or ‘Prayan Radtnarachamanidt,’ was celebrated for his immense mercy, compassion, sincerity, and diligent effort in practicing the Buddhist Vinaya. Born Truek Jindanayan in 2440 BE, he renounced worldly possessions and left an indelible mark on Thai Buddhism.
Chao Khun Nor passed away in 2514 BE at the age of 74, leaving behind a legacy of 56 years of diligent service as an ordained monk. Despite suffering from a severe neck cancer, he continued his daily practices, giving Dhamma sermons and never displaying signs of pain to the devotees.
Before his passing, Chao Khun Nor performed the blessing and empowerment of sacred earths and gravels, known as ‘Pra Por Mae Torani Bpatawi Dhatu,’ considered extremely powerful. He encouraged devotees to remember him by his Dhamma name, ‘Tammawidtago,’ emphasizing the importance of mindfulness and adherence to the Triple Gem.
Above is an image of Chao Khun Nor during the time he suffered from extreme throat cancer, yet continued his practices without rest. The open wound from the cancer disappeared before his death, showcasing his remarkable dedication and resilience.
The Pra Por Mae Torani Bpatawi Dhatu Relics of Chao Khun Nor, depicted above, are considered potent symbols of his enlightened being. The Sangkaracha Royal Monk, his Upachaya, declared him a Noble Person, and Luang Ta Maha Bua acknowledged him as a Pra Arahant Klang Krung, an Enlightened Arahant.
Devotees are encouraged to use the Traditional Thai Buddhist Method for Bucha, involving specific chants and rituals. The amulet, as seen above, contains sacred Muan Sarn Pong Wised powders inserted into the hollow at its base.
